History

Indigenous people traditionally occupied the area that is now known as Seville Grove. Captain Charles Fremantle founded the Swan River Colony in 1829 and in 1846 the first mine was developed there.

A railway was established in the 1800s and led to fast growth for Seville Grove.
It used to be part of the City of Armadale, which was established in 1985, though Seville Grove became its own suburb in 2002.

Lifestyle and Entertainment

Seville Grove is a growing suburb, with several new housing estates recently developed there. The suburb is home to a library and two schools. It also houses Swan TAFE’s Equine Training Centre.

The suburb is mostly residential housing and is home to the Matthew Stott Reserve. The lovely Wright Lake is just a two minute drive away.
