History

The Mickleham Post Office opened in 1862 and closed in 1967. In 1913, Konagaderra office opened. However, this closed in 1920.

These days, Mickleham is a small, peaceful spot. It is popular with families wanting to raise their children in a quieter location. There are many beautiful bluestone buildings, such as the old primary school on the corner of Mickleham Road. Several planned development schemes are in the works, and will continue through the next few years.
