History

This suburb is relatively recent. VicUrban developed it in 1994. In 2005, the Lynbrook Primary School was established, and in 2010 the St Francis de Sales Primary school opened its doors. In 2012 Lynbrook was connected to the Cranbourne railway line.

Lifestyle and Entertainment

Banjo Paterson Park is a great place to spend an afternoon. There are trails for cycling and walking as well as a children’s play area, a football and cricket pitch and space to have a BBQ. The Lynbrook Lakers cricket team is based here.

There is a shopping complex that has a supermarket as well as shops selling speciality items. There is also a multipurpose community centre.
