Adam’s Tree Services is a locally owned and operated family business that has been providing tree felling and stump removal services in St Leonards since 2005. We pride ourselves on offering careful and professional service while keeping in mind the safety and integrity of the site and the people around it. Our experts can make recommendations on the best course of action to take if you are concerned about overgrown and unwanted trees threatening your safety. We have established a robust reputation for always getting the job done properly, carefully, and on time, every time. Our arborists will carry out an on-site inspection to assess your trees and compile any necessary reports for your information. Our services include tree pruning, stump grinding, tree reports, tree removals, land clearing, tree cutting, trimming, risk reduction, test management, tree bracing, and emergency callout service. We can take care of canopy reduction on deciduous trees, fence line pruning, large leaders on branches, fruit trees, power and service wire clearing, and hedges.
Adam has won both state and interstate arboriculture awards, as well as appearing on local ABC Radio as a special guest, giving advice on the safe use of chainsaws, trees, and general safe work practices. Our team can customise a report for your specific requirements and provide it as a hard copy or via email. We are registered users of Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) and OH&S-compliant.

A full site assessment is carried out on every job, large or small. Adam and his team pride themselves on "controlled takedowns". We are fully insured and happily provide our insurance details on request.
Yes, we have several wood splitters available for hire, or we can cut, split, and stack the wood for you.
Yes, we do. Since it is your tree, of course you are welcome to keep the mulch, or we can remove it from the site.
Yes. Those with a tree of significance - schools and public parks are the most common users of this service. In sensitive areas, a tree report may need to be conducted for a development application. A tree report may include the tree species, approx. height or weight, age, condition, health, and recommended works (if any). Please note that no tree report is required for a dead tree.
Depending on where you live. Different councils have different regulations. Upon your request, we can find out if there is any vegetation protection attached to the property. These may include heritage-listed trees, the skyline, or a state reserve. Please note that just because there is an order for protection on the trees or hedges, it does not mean no work can be carried out.
Yes, we use a range of different bracing systems; steel wire or cable, dynamic rope, metal rods are a few of the options available. When bracing is considered, we explore the most desirable options for the site.
