About Laird Construction
Laird Construction offers a design and construction service right through to liaison with heritage and local government.
Stephen Laird has built a strong reputation as a specialist in historical restorations and renovations, his approach to design and construction is not surprising given his qualifications, Bachelor of Environmental Design, Diploma of Architecture and he is a member of the Master Builders Tasmania.
Laird Construction has over 40 years’ experience in heritage buildings, specialising in cost effective structural repairs, conservation and restoration. We are based in Tasmania, Australia and can provide our services throughout the state. Services included damp proofing, joinery, repairs to walls, chimneys, roofs and foundations as well as paint removal, stone work and fences. We have worked on major projects from St Mary’s Cathedral- Hobart, Clarendon House - Evandale and Woolmers - Longford, to minor works on floors and veranda posts on many heritage cottages.
