History

The area of Kilburn was known as Little Chicago before its name change during the 20th century. Little Chicago was never an official name for the area, though.

It is believed that the name Kilburn comes from a suburb of London, England.

Kilburn is close to the city and has lots of wonderful parks. It’s a convenient suburb with non-stop bus and train services. There is an excellent pub in the area that serves great food, as well as lots of cafes.

In addition to a selection of good schools, Kilburn has lots of heritage sites including Islington Railway Workshops Foundry and Tubemakers Administration Buildings.
