FAQs

  • How often do my Fire Extinguishers need to be serviced?

Fire Extinguishers along with other Fire Equipment are required to be serviced every 6 months in South Australia. Some items may require to be tested more frequently, such as Fire Alarm Panels. It's important that you speak with us to ensure that your equipment is being tested when it is supposed to be.

  • I have a Form 3 that needs signing, is Sustainable Fire Protection able to sign this?

Yes, however, if your recent services were completed by a different company or have not been completed at all, we may need to attend your site to conduct an inspection or service before signing this.

  • Do I need Evacuation Diagrams? How long do they last?

Australian Standard 3745 requires all facilities in Australia to have Evacuation Diagrams as part of their Emergency Plan. These Evacuation Diagrams should be displayed in places that are visible to all occupants. Evacuation Diagrams are required to be updated every 5 years.
