Riverhills is a Brisbane suburb sat 15km south-west of the central business district. It’s bordered by the Brisbane River, as well as the suburbs of Sumner, Middle Park and Jamboree Heights. Riverhills is part of the City of Brisbane local government area, and has a population of more than 3,800.

History

First developed in the middle of the 20th century, Riverhills was part of Brisbane’s ‘Centenary Project’. It’s one of the Centenary Suburbs, along with Jindalee, Mt Ommaney, Jamboree Heights, Middle Park, Westlake and Sumner.

Riverhills is a lovely place for families. It’s safe, leafy and peaceful, and boasts great access to multiple schools. Karumba Place Park and Tigris Street Park are both popular, and the Just Poppy’s burger joint is a big hangout spot. Riverhills features excellent transport links to the surrounding suburbs and beyond.
