History

Palm Beach suburb has been subdivided, and it sits on both sides of the main highway. This occurred by the mid-1950s. Some very early beach shacks that are a feature of the Gold Coast can be seen in Palm Beach.

Lifestyle and Entertainment

Palm Beach is set out in quite a logical fashion. Streets are numbered from the south, starting with the first and ending with the 28th. Every second road ends at the highway.

Many families who come to Palm Beach on holiday stay at the Tallebudgera Creek Tourist Park. This is located at the north end of Palm Beach. Next to it is the Tallebudgera Recreational Camp. Children from all around the State come to this camp.
