FAQs

  • What does my health insurance cover?

Health insurance policies vary significantly, so we recommend that you speak with your health insurance provider for clarification of your coverage. Alternatively you can pop into our Practice and we can endeavor to help you with a quote for services.

  • How often do I need a clean and check-up?

6 monthly visits to your dentist give us a chance to give you a thorough clean and examination to prevent and/or detect and treat any problems (such as gum disease and oral cancer) before they have serious consequences to your health and finances. During your examination your dentist is able to screen for issues like gum disease and oral cancer

  • How can I improve my oral hygiene?

    1. Be sure to brush at least twice per day, using a gentle, circular motion and a soft toothbrush, don’t forget to brush your tongue. It’s best not to rinse your mouth following brushing as it removed the protection toothpaste provides. 2. Floss once a day to remove plaque between the teeth. Gently move the floss up and down the sides of each tooth and around the gum line. 3. Replace your toothbrush every three to four months, or when you see the brush head is looking a little worn.
