Need signage in a hurry? We've got you. We keep a wide range of materials in stock and do all our printing and production in-house, so we can move fast when you need it most. Some jobs can be same day but once artwork is approved we try and have no more than a week turnaround on most jobs. We will get it done.
We work closely with nearby suppliers who can deliver next day, so we often get your signs ready within 24 hours! This covers vinyl cut lettering, digital prints (before lamination), corflute signs, small signs, A-frame signage and banners. Digital prints that need lamination and larger projects will take a bit longer but 99% of our jobs are completed in 1 to 5 days after artwork is approved.
We make all our signs right here on-site using advanced Mimaki printers and Vinyl Cutters. We only use genuine inks, materials and panels to ensure your signage resists fading, maintains strong adhesion and stands the test of time. Most signs are ready within 1-5 days after artwork approval. Simple signage like vinyl cut lettering, corflute signs and banners can often be turned around in 24 - 48 hours. Larger or laminated digital prints may take slightly longer.
We use high-quality materials suited to your needs - acrylic, aluminium composite panel, corflute, vinyl and more. We only use genuine inks so it get the most out of signage. As every job is different, please contact us to discuss your sign requirements.
Because we create signs, we cut signs to your requirements. Our standard sheets are 2440 x 1220 which can be cut down or added too for your signage needs.
With proper care, outdoor signs made with UV laminated digital prints or durable panels can last 5-7 years or more. Unlaminated or corflute signage you are looking at only 1-2 years. Also by not laminating your print and someone marks it you can't just use metho to rub it off as it will take the print off. Vinyl decals have a longer life span than digital prints.
At Kirkby Bros Signwriters, we will provide you with the artwork for your approval once a deposit has been made to accept our quote. You can then see how your sign will look and you can make changes before we create your sign.
Yes, you can supply your own artwork as long as the artwork is in the correct format, we need to complete your job. We can also design your signs and give your ideas of what we feel will work well from our 30 years of industry experience. Just call us to discuss your artwork requirements for your signs.

Yes, you can but they will not be good quality unless you purchase them from iStock or another similar company. They are set up for screen resolution quality of only 72 dpi. This is clear to view on your screen but when we blow them up to the size you require for your sign, they are too pixelated. The image needs to be of high resolution (300 dpi to scale or higher). Please call us for advice so that we can produce great signs for you.
We accept vector files, TIFF, PDF and EPS Files. Files need to be converted to curves so if we need to change anything. We also accept high-resolution JPEG but we can't change them like the rest of the files because it is an image so we can't cut out wording, change the colour or the design. If you require changes, we would have to redraw it for a fee.
