Mop up the stain with absorbent, colour fast material, e.g. paper towel, colour fast towel. Blot the stain, do not wipe - This only spreads the problem! Call Gary! Drying time for carpets will vary according to the type of carpet and climatic conditions. As a general rule, in warm weather: *Nylon carpets 4-5 hours, *Wool carpets 3-4 hours. In cooler weather, add an hour to the above times. Cross flow ventilation, ceiling fans and air conditioning on the drying cycle can speed up the process.
