From planning to installation CPR Staircases combine design with craftsmanship. In our modern and well equipped factory in White bridge, we custom build each and every staircase. We use only the finest Joiners and the highest quality timbers and materials available to create and best reflect your personal style. We offer a free measure, quote and design service and provide assistance to owner builders, builders or architects. Staircases can be very specialised and technical. It’s crucial that the staircase is manufactured to adhere to council ordinance restrictions in order to comply with the Building Code of Australia requirements.
For the DIY enthusiast or builder, CPR Staircases offers a flat pack service. Simply provide us with the relevant measurements and details for your project and we can supply all the staircase, handrail and balustrade components to your specifications ready for your assembly and installation. For those who are interested in installing their own staircase, CPR Staircases offers a staircase made up option. The staircase is manufactured in our factory as a complete staircase (or supplied in sections if the staircase layout has winding treads) which can be simply picked up or delivered to site for installation by others.
We offer a full planning to installation service for those who wish to leave it all to the staircase specialist. We visit the project site to measure the stairwell area, configure the staircase design, if need be and then have our expert joiners build the staircase. After consulting delivery times with you we will install your staircase. Custom building each individual staircase enables us to provide plenty of design options. From closed riser staircases to open riser staircases, or part open part closed staircases the choices are endless. Whether it’s straight, angled, curved, modern or traditional we can cater for all your staircase requirements. Metal centre spine staircases and timber boxed spine staircases bring a contemporary look to your home.

The design & construction process of constructing a staircase generally involves 5 main steps: On-site measure or plans sent to our office, staircase components selection & quotation, stair design & layout, manufacture, installation. We are only too happy to ensure you get exactly what you desire. It will be your home & possibly the focal point on your home. CPR Staircases has installed thousands of stairs & understands the process. We like to make it as seamless for the client as possible.

There are many different types of cut string closed rise, open rise & concealed cut. They all allow the tread and risers shape to be seen when viewed from a side angle profile.
This handrail continues to the end of a flight of stairs. This means that it flows to the bottom stair. A continuous curved rail gives you the benefit of allowing your hand never to leave contact with the handrail down the full flight of the stair.
Its name says it all one stringer down the centre of the staircase and can only be made from timber or steel. A modern and contemporary style, the mono string is a more recent addition to staircase design than its counterparts.
Designed to let light in, open rise stairs give a room the impression of being more open and larger in size without the stair being obtrusive.
Typically made from hardwood or treated pine timbers such as Merbau and Blackbutt. Generally, open rise rather than closed rise to prevent excess moisture and water pooling on treads. It is advisable for each tread to be designed in two-part to avoid timber bowing.
