A Pet's Life was founded in 1999 and has a reputation of providing first class professional and caring service to pets lovers and their pets. This award winning service has been used and recommended by many people involved in the Illawarra Pet Care Industry and we are proud to continue to serve them.
The dogs that come to stay with us live at our home like our own dogs do! During the day they are outside playing with each other or snoozing and then at night they are welcomed inside our home to sleep comfortably. With your holiday preparations in full swing, let us lend a helping hand. We offer the convenience of picking up and dropping off your furry family member.
Alternatively, if you prefer you can bring your dog into the Canineology Centre at Unanderra and we will take it from there. Throughout the day, your dog has the freedom to roam freely around our securely fenced yard on our 3 acre farm or do zoomies with other furry friends. They can also enjoy a swim in our pool or opt for a leisurely sun-soaked nap on the verandah to rest.
Come the evening we provide your dog with a quality feed and can easily accommodate special diets or medications. At night time your dog will be welcomed inside our home, where they’ll find a cozy spot to sleep alongside their newfound furry friends. This award winning service has been used and recommended by many people involved in the Illawarra Pet Care Industry and we are proud to continue to serve them. We look forward to having your dog on our farm.

My dog doesn’t get on with other dogs. Does my dog need to be social?
Your dog must be dog friendly and new clients dogs are required to pass a sociability test at the Canineology Centre Dog Day Care to ensure they are super friendly we all dogs. We reserve the right to not accept any dog or breed that we feel would be unsuitable.

What vaccinations does my dog need to have?
All dogs must have current C5 or C7 vaccinations which include current Kennel Cough vaccination or intranasal. We will require a copy of the current vaccinations which you can ask your vet to supply to you if you don’t have one on file. All dogs must also have current Flea and Tick treatments.

Does my dog need to be desexed?
All dogs must be desexed to stay with us. We will consider certain puppies under six month of age who have not yet been desexed.

Is the fencing secure?
Yes our house yard has six foot secure fencing.

Is my dog kept in a Kennel at all during the day / night?
No we don’t have kennels, our guests can free range around the house yard with other guests and are inside with us at night.

How do I book?
You can book via the website portal or email or text. All details are on our website.

What do I need to bring for my dog?
We only require your dog with a collar and tag or a collar with your contact details on it.

What will my dog eat?
We choose premium grain free dry food and fresh meat. If you dog has a special diet we can accommodate that as well which you can supply or we can provide.

My dog has a special diet and medication?
We are happy for you to supply your dog’s special diet and we can certainly administer any medication as required.

How many dogs are staying at any one time?
We have a maximum of ten dogs staying at one time.
