Dr Rizkallah has special interest in minimally Invasive Hip and Knee arthroplasty together with advanced knee and shoulder arthroscopic treatment of a variety of conditions. Dr Rizkallah operates from Nepean Private Hospital and Nepean Public Hospital with consulting rooms at Nepean Private Hospital Specialist Centre in Kingswood. Dr. Rizkallah is an Orthopaedic Surgeon & an Assistant Professor.

About Dr Rizkallah:

Dr Rizkallah is compassionate and patient-focused care with extensive training and many years of experience in Australia and overseas in joint replacement and reconstruction, shoulder surgery and the use of Stem Cells and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) for the treatment of soft tissue and joint injuries and degenerative conditions which is gaining significant popularity worldwide.

My Practice:

Dr. Rizkallah is the only Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Penrith area and one of only a few Australia wide who perform simultaneous Knee arthroscopic procedures for mechanical problems combined with simultaneous, same sitting, Adipose Derived Stem Cell Therapy for the treatment of a wide variety of joint disorders. What is a Bunion?

A bunion is one problem that can develop due to hallux valgus, a foot deformity. The term "hallux valgus" is Latin and means a turning outward (valgus) of the big toe (hallux). The bone which joins the big toe, the first metatarsal, becomes prominent on the inner border of the foot. This bump is the bunion and is made up of bone and soft tissue.
Can Bunions be Prevented?

Bunion pain can be successfully managed in the vast majority of cases by switching to shoes that fit properly and don't compress the toes. Your orthopaedic surgeon can give you more information about proper shoe fit and the types of shoes that would be best for you.
What is Unicompartmental Knee Replacement?

The goal of knee replacement surgery is to decrease pain and restore function. Although total knee replacement (also called "arthroplasty") is an excellent option for patients with osteoarthritis of the knee, other surgical options exist. Patients with osteoarthritis that is limited to just one part of the knee may be candidates for unicompartmental knee replacement (also called a Hemiarthroplasty and a "partial" knee replacement).
