Kellyville Ridge is one of Sydney’s fastest-growing suburbs. It is 41km north-west of Sydney’s central business district and has a population of over 8000.

History

Many roads and reserves within Kellyville Ridge are named after the Castle Hill Rebellion that took place in the district and the town itself gets its name from the ridge. It only became a separate suburb in 2002 when the area west of Windsor Road was renamed.

Lifestyle and Entertainment

The Ponds Shopping Centre ;oes in the western edge of Kellyville Ridge and has major retailers, specialty stores, cafes and restaurants, as well as a medical and dental centre. Stanhope Village can be found next to the suburb, which contains a wonderful selection of retail, service and food outlets.

When it comes to transport, Schofields train station is an 8-minute drive away and Quakers Hill train station is a 10-minute drive. The Sydney Metro Northwest provides a regular service to Kellyville Ridge, as does the Hillsbus and Busways services. There are also primary and high schools dotted around the town, as well as brand new housing estates.
