History

The suburb of Glenwood is named after a historic building called Glenwood Park. However, the area was known as Norfolk up until 1882 and Sorrento until 1941.

Glenwood is said to be the first site to be built in the Rouse Hill Development area.

This place has plenty of shopping options nearby and its own shopping village with a medical centre. Some people describe Glenwood as an upmarket area with good schools and parks.

You can get to the Northern beaches with ease via public transport and the motorway. There is also the Valentine Sport Park, which is a big sporting complex and the headquarters for the Football NSW.
