We have a total of 61 kennels and three grassed exercise areas. All the kennels are covered with shade cloth with a sleeping area.
Situated 1 km off the Pacific Highway and just 5 km from South Grafton, is a boarding kennel where the health and happiness of your pet is our priority. This especially applies to our puppy charges, as we are very aware that we are responsible for life long positive and contented resort vacations. We really want them to be happy and to return. From puppy to aged, we offer a specific level of care.

Established in 2007, Skye Park Pet Resort& Day Spa is a trustworthy dog boarding facility in Clarenza, NSW. We are winners of the Clarence Valley Business Excellence Award. We have around 65kennels where we make sure every pet stays in comfort with all the relevant services offered to them. Be it a pup, an adult, or an aged dog, we make sure to give them the proper case that is best for them and make their stay with us rather refreshing.

Our services include hydrobaths, grooming, clipping, and complete daycare services for all your dogs, whatever the breed and whatever the size. We provide beds, dog rolls, hammocks, and more. We can also accommodate cats and provide all kinds of services to make their stay pleasant. The environment we provide is clean and has all the features that are required for the pets to be happy, active, and healthy.

We also have a team of trained and supportive staff that can provide the best care for the animals. Our staff knows how to deal with pets and keep them engaged while they stay with us. We can also teach them obedience and look into issues like flea infections. We provide home-made food and cater to the needs of small and special dogs.

FAQs

  • Where are you located?

    We are located 5 minutes South of Grafton, New South Wales.

  • Why must we make an appointment to view the kennels?

    The kennels are not just comprised of an office to be attended. Our days are filled with cleaning, bathing, grooming and moving pets outside to the exercise areas for supervised playtime at least 3 times a day as well as our maintenance duties. If you visit us during the middle of the day in our closed hours we can then give our complete attention to you and your pet. Our policies are primarily in place for the comfort and protection of our charges.

  • Why is there an after hours entry or exit fee?

    We are open 7 hours a day, 6 days a week and also 2 hours on Sundays. Our time is often spoken for during our closed hours with inspections, grooming, pick-up or delivery of pets.

  • What are your hours of operation?

    We're open from 8am to 11:30am and from 2:00pm to 5:30pm from Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 2:00pm on Saturdays and from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Sundays. All service is by appointment.

  • Do you mix the animals together?

    Only if they come in together or at the request of the owners. Generally owners will request a group playtime. The cats are never mixed unless they come from the same family and are housed together at the request of the owners.

  • How often do you exercise them?

    Dogs are moved out to exercise yards for playtimes 3 or 4 times a day weather depending. There are also 4 fully enclosed cat exercise areas with sun deck, climbing poles and play mobiles.

  • Do you bathe the dogs?

    We bathe the dogs for free in a warm water hydrobath with a shampoo, conditioner and Fidos flea rinse if they have been in longer than 7 days. Otherwise you can request a bath at anytime for $15:00. Other products can be used on request. Note if the weather is deemed too cold to bath we will give them a dry shampoo spruce up.

  • Do you give discounts?

    Yes, there is a reduction in the fee for the second animal if they are sharing the same unit. There is also a long term discount applicable if your pet is here for 30 days or more.

  • Do you have a holiday surcharge?

    No. You are however in holiday periods to pay for the full time the kennel is booked even if you fail to turn up or you return sooner. A non- refundable deposit is required to hold Christmas bookings.

  • What do you feed?

    We supply a wide variety of quality dry foods, only if your pet is on a veterinary diet are you requested to supply their food. Our cooked menu is cooked daily from good quality chicken mince, mixed veges, rice, pasta and mixed herbs. We also supply quality raw beef mince, raw chicken necks, cooked chicken, also tinned foods and sachets if that is what your pet is used to. We will do our best to cater to your pets requirements as if they were at home. We don't want any upset tummies.
