Based on New South Wales’ south coast, Broulee is a lovely town. According to the 2006 census, it has a population of over 1,200 people. It sits between Batemans Bay and Moruya.

History

Broulee achieved gazetted status in 1837. In 1840, people could buy land. That same year, Broulee established the first court in the district. The next year, in 1841, Broulee became the centre of a major police district.
