Blue Haven is a suburb of Wallarah Creek. It is part of the Central Coast of New South Wales. The suburb has a population of 6,167.

History

The area was originally little more than a collection of dirt roads surrounded by bushland. At first, it was known as Blueridge Estate. Before urbanisation, the area was subject to frequent bushfires.

The modern suburb was established in 1991. It took the name Blue Haven at that point.

Lifestyle and Entertainment

Blue Haven is home to several parks and reserves. These include Blue Haven Pocket Park, Blueridge Drive Reserve, and Spring Creek Reserve. There are also extensive areas of wetland to the south of the town.

Local sporting facilities include a skate park and a basketball court. The Blue
Haven Raiders Junior Rugby League Club represents the town. The team is also known as the Green Machine.
