FAQs
Glenn Carty Orthodontics is a long established and experienced specialist orthodontic practice servicing people of the Canberra and surrounding regions since 1996. We use state of the art appliances and treatment modalities designed to move teeth efficiently and gently to their correct positions as quickly as possible. With 25+ years specialist orthodontic experience our aims remain the same today as they did at the start.
We prioritise the ‘orthodontic’ component of your care. For your radiographs we refer you to radiography practices. This allows us to access the latest in radiology technology while you benefit from bulk billing in well over 95% of referrals.
When it comes to your treatment we want you to understand what is available to you. A separate appointment will be scheduled to discuss your treatment and associated costs. When you leave this appointment you should understand your treatment and where options are available, why one is preferred. Gone are the days of “All I know is I need braces!”
When it comes to the delivery of your treatment, what would you prefer; the Orthodontist undertaking your treatment or lesser qualified people, be they dentists or auxiliaries, undertaking your treatment? We have you covered, with only the Orthodontist undertaking your treatment.
Orthodontic treatment delivered by an Orthodontist. I like the sound of that!
